Four Seasons has just signed a management agreement with the owners of the existing Bilila Lodge (previously a Kempinski.) The resort will be upgraded and rebranded the Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti
in fall 2012. This marks the first Four Seasons in Sub-Saharan Africa,
although the brand is planning a luxury tented safari camp in the
Ngorongoro Conservation Area and a beach resort on the island of
Zanzibar.
This looks like a fantastic place to spend some time. We are going to be travelling to Africa soon and we were a little bit worried about the standard of accommdation until we saw some of the pictures on this blog
ReplyDeleteThe first thing we want to do is a Kilimanjaro trip but after that there is so much to see on this continent that we just can't decide where to go next. With a great place to spend the night it will be a lot easier to make ourselves at home anywhere I guess
